Geocaching in the Park
Saturday, April 4th 1-3 pm at the Willow River Nature Center.
Gather your friends and family and come geocaching in the park. Have fun with this treasure hunting activity by bringing an item to place into the caches you find if you wish to take one out. We will have a limited number of GPS units will be available. Please feel free to bring your own GPS unit or smartphone with the free geocaching APP if you have one.
Reusable Reads and Signs of Spring Hike!
Saturday, April 11th from 10-11:30 am at the Willow River Nature Center
Make your own four season book out of old paper bags! Fill your book with your favorite things about spring, summer, fall, and winter and share it with your friends. Also a perfect idea to make your own herbarium, hiking journal, or scrapbook. Then join the Naturalist on a hike to fill in your book with signs of spring!
Saturday, April 18th from 2-3pm at Willow River Nature Center.
Spring is in the air! Get outside and enjoy it with this fun treasure hunting activity. Search for items on a checklist throughout the park then come back to the Nature Center and collect a small participation prize!
Earth Day Celebration at Lake Front Park!
Saturday, April 25th from 12-3pm at Lake Front Park in Downtown, Hudson WI
Visit the Naturalist at Lake Front Park in downtown Hudson, WI where she and several other local organizations will be celebrating Earth Day. There will be environmental programs, activities and exhibits for the whole family to explore!
Don’t Forget About Our Preschool Young Naturalist Classes!
Every Tuesday or Wednesday from 10-11am bring your preschooler (ages 3-5) to the Nature Center to learn about all things Nature!
Classes include hikes, games, crafts, story time and more! Always come dressed for the weather and with plenty of water.
