Snow Day At Willow!

Saturday, February 5 from 10am-noon. Meet at the sledding hill near the Willow River Nature Center.

Even in Wisconsin, winter doesn't last forever. Get outside and enjoy the and snow while it's here!
Drop in anytime from 10am-noon and hit the sledding hill, explore the natural playground, go on a winter scavenger hunt, or even paint the snow! We will have a small number of sleds available but feel free to bring your own along!

Winter Wonders Hike at Kinnickinnic State Park!

Saturday, February 12 at 1pm sharp. Meet at the external parking lot on 770th Avenue off of County Road F.

Join the Naturalist at Kinnickinnic State Park and discover one of her favorite winter hiking trails. This 3-mile hike takes you through several different habitats and offers beautiful, ridge-top views of the Kinnickinnic River this time of the year. Please dress for the weather and bring along, water, good hiking boots, and binoculars!

Lets Go Ice Fishing!

Saturday, February 19 from 10:30am-12:30pm. Meet at the Beach Pavilion.

Join Wild Rivers Conservancy and Naturalist Ash as we drill into the ice on Little Falls Lake. 
This program is geared towards youth, families and individuals new to ice fishing.

Before dropping our lines in the lake, we’ll go over: ice safety, fishing equipment, baits, electronics and more! 
We’ll have 30 fishing rods available for use during this event. Please bring along, drinking water, a bucket or chair to sit on and warm winter attire including: waterproof boots, gloves and pants as it can get quite cold out on the ice! Feel free to bring your own fishing gear along if you have it!
