CANCELLED: Winter Wonders Hike At KSP!

Saturday, February 6 at 1pm sharp. Meet at the gravel parking lot on 770th Avenue off of County Road F.

This hike has been cancelled due to the extremely cold weather moving in this weekend. Please be sure to catch us at another upcoming event or hike this month!

Trace-A-Track!

Saturday, February 13 at 1pm.
Meet outside the Willow River Nature Center

Grab a track-rubbing booklet and hit the Hidden Ponds Nature Trail where you will discover 10 species of animals found here in the park. Trace their tracks and silhouettes, learn fun facts, and collect a participation prize! 
The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Participants must maintain social distance of at least 6 feet from others. Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.

Frosty Falls 4.5 Mile Hike!

Saturday, February 20. Hike leaves at 1pm sharp.

Meet outside the Willow River Nature Center.  

Join Naturalist Ashley on a wintery walk to the Willow Falls. This is a spectacular time of year for viewing the frost covered falls. But don’t just take our word for it, get out there and see for yourself! This will be a 4.5 mile hike round trip. Depending on the weather and depth of snow it could also be quite strenuous and slippery. Be sure to dress in warm layers, bring plenty of water, and good hiking boots.

The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Participants must maintain social distance of at least 6 feet from others. Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.

Snow Day At Willow!

Saturday, February 27 at 1 pm. Meet at the sledding hill near the Willow River Nature Center.

Get outside and enjoy the cold and snow! Hit the sledding hill, explore the natural playground, go on a winter scavenger hunt, or even paint the snow! We will have a small number of sleds available but feel free to bring your own along.  
The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Participants must maintain social distance of at least 6 feet from others. Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.
