Snow Day at Kinnickinnic State Park!

Saturday, March 6 from 1-3pm. Meet at the sledding hill.  

Get outside and enjoy the cold and snow! Hit the sledding hill, explore the natural playground, go on a winter scavenger hunt, or even paint the snow! We will have a small number of sleds available but feel free to bring your own along. 


This event is free to attend but vehicle admission into the park is required. The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.

Mammal Trivia!

Saturday, March 13 1pm. Meet at the Willow River Nature Center.

Join the Naturalist for a fun afternoon all about fur-bearing animals. We’ll have skulls and pelts for you to examine and feel while you play a hands-on trivia game along the Hidden Ponds trail to test your knowledge of the animals that make up the park. 

This event is free to attend but vehicle admission into the park is required. The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.

Endangered and Invasive Species Trivia!

Saturday, March 27 at 1pm. Meet at the Willow River Nature Center. 

How well do you know the pests growing in your community, or the endangered species of our state? Many people are not aware that the purple clovers over-running their yards are actually an invasive species, or that the beautiful blue butterfly stopping for some nectar in their garden is actually an endangered species. Come find out how aware you are of WI invasive and endangered species with our fun and educational trivia game!

This event is free to attend but vehicle admission into the park is required. The program is limited to 50 persons on a first come, first served basis.  Masks or facial coverings are recommended when in close proximity to others.
