TIMED TRAIL CHALLENGE RACES:

The race courses are a scenic mix of challenging climbs and descents through Willow River State Park. Run along the banks of the Willow River, past beaver ponds, and across the base of breathtaking Willow Falls.

Choose among 6.6K, 10.6K, or 21.1K (Half Marathon) distances. Each race is not only longer but more challenging than the last!

SUPPORT OUR PARK AND COMMUNITY: The Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks is a members-based group of volunteers who work together with the park managers to organize and fund supplemental park programs, projects and events. The River Willow Trail Challenge is one of the largest fundraisers for the Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks. All proceeds from this event go into hiring a naturalist, creating new events and making the Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks better than ever.
